A Wilhelm Scream (USA) & Nothington (USA) in Holland

A Wilhelm Scream is a punk rock / melodic hardcore band from New Bedford, Massachusetts, United States. Their name is a reference to the Wilhelm scream, a famous stock sound effect which mainly is used in films. The band previously went by the names Smackin' Isaiah, Koen and Adam's Crack, though the former was the only name to be used in any major release. The reason the name changes "from Koen to Smackin' Isaiah to A Wilhelm Scream was really a matter of them adding new member, and progressing/maturing as a band." (this is what Pukkelpop 2009 wrote about them).

A Wilhelm Scream will be in Holland on December 5th. Together with Accelerators and Rentokill they will do a concert on December 5th in Roermond at the Azijnfabriek. http://www.azijnfabriek.nl/agenda.php?id=713

For Nothington (USA), the story is just as important. As their sound as every note, every guitar riff and growl comes from the heart. At the core of it, they’re just searching to get back to their punk rock roots, to something that is simple and not complicated by business or genres or the latest fad.

Nothington will be in Holland on February 17th in Utrecht, ACU. Keep a lookout for more shows.

ACCELERATORS | September update

First of all we like to thank everybody who made the tour in July happen. As always we had a blast. It was nice to see some old friends in Piacenza, Valence, the UK and great to meet some new ones in Rome, Palermo and Lignano!

In August we took a little vacation for ourselves and got back together on the last weekend of August to play two cool festivals called Gideon in Groningen and Mini-rock in Krimpen a/d IJssel.

September isn’t over yet but what a month it was! We’ve played 9 shows in the last two weeks. Three shows with Peter Pan Speedrock, two with the Briggs and one with De Heideroosjes. Besides that we played the Popronde in Nijmegen and Zwolle and last Sunday we played at Kempenerpop in Waalre together with Mad Sin, Pro-Pain and Dries Roelvink!

Talking about Peter Pan Speedrock, they invited us to play this years edition of
Speedfest in Eindhoven! The line-up is looking great, so make sure you show up!Keep on checking the showlist, cause there is lots coming up! www.myspace.com/accelerators
